Ssezibwa and mubeeya are both twins who on birth started their journey separately but joined together after a few meters they joined together and started their maiden journey in a small village called namukono. the two where from "akabira"a small forest.its from this place that their mother who was on her journey that got labor pains and couldn't go any further that she gave birth from
its between the 18th century that these twin rivers were born from this place.from that time up to date people visit this place to ask for blessings in life mostly marriage,infertility,twins and other miracles have been witnessed happening from this place.
the two started the journey just like any other child starts growing .From this place you can see them little and separate,but on the journey the rivers keep expanding and getting momentum speed. They both separated on their way at namukono. mubeeya formed her falls at banga 2 where she moved towards lake victoria and Ssezibwa formed his falls at kayanja mukono.
